DOVER FOOD RETAIL
I have been a Digital Content Specialist under contract at Dover Food Retail since December 2017. During this time I've had the opportunity to work on a number of different projects including marketing design, UI/UX development and even video editing. Here are a few of the projects I worked at during my time at Dover Food Retail. I've found there are few things more helpful to a designer than being thrown into the deep end of the pool with no floaties. Basically, I work better and learn more outside of my comfort zone.
Parts One Catalog (2018)

The purpose of this project was to create the first catalog within the brand division that I worked in (After-market parts) which gave a comprehensive guide to Dover's products which would also captivate and charm clients.
This catalog was essentially created from scratch, the only thing that was borrowed from other sources were stock-photos of grocery stores and commercial refrigeration systems. However, some of the product photos were either photographer by me or a 3D render of them was created in Illustrator & Photoshop.
This project including creating a uniform format that would incorporate the brand's previous marketing elements and color schemes to create a concise and effective catalog for buyers from companies like Wal-Mart, Publix, Target and Wegman's to name a few.
The initial grid and format elements were created in InDesign. All assets, logos and vector images were created in Illustrator and imported into the InDesign document. All of the photos were either licensed from Adobe Stock or photographed by myself using a Canon T3i Rebel.
The catalog spans 58 pages including 52 pages of content about the after-market refrigeration parts that Dover offers. I am not an engineer and before my contract began with them in December of 2017, I had never even considered who sold refrigerators to major retailers. By collaborating with a number of my colleagues in other departments including industrial design drafting and business analytics, I was able to form an understanding of how our products worked and who they were used by. Without this assistance, I would not have been able to create the copy for these pages. All original draft writing was done on Word and submitted to a team of supervisors before being implemented into the catalog.
This catalog was officially unveiled to Dover's clients during the 2nd quarter of 2018.
